I am from mumbai and I bought the HCL laptop in Feb 2012.i had very bad experience with HCL leptop.laptop worked very well for first 8 months. then its keyboard and mouse buttons stopped functioning. Since I had my all work on leptop so I managed it using a usb keyboard & mouse.All of a sudden battery life which was more than 3 hrs when the laptop was brand new. its came down to 2 hrs in 8 months and then I had this worse experience.
Exactly after 1YEAR [warranty is 1 year]of buying the HCL laptop the motherboard stopped functioning. And as expected the response I got from HCL was product is out of warranty.and mother board needs to be replaced with expenses of 18000 rupees.very bad experience.
