This is one of the finest Restaurants in town at Shivaji Park, Dadar.
Gypsy has got two Restaurants located side by side serving chinese, moughlai and an open snack bar kind. Gypsy serves the finest chinese cuisine in the suburbs. They provide you with complimentary delicious salad and peanuts along with lip smacking sauces of different varities. The food is very good and tasty at decent prices.
They also have buffet lunches at just Rs. 180/- for vegeterians and 216/- for non-vegeterians. This consists of a soup, soft drinks or a glass of beer, snacks, rice or noodles, one chicken variety or veg variety followed by icecream. The quantity is good and very filling. While ordering on an individual basis, for a family of four the average cost should be around 500 to 700 rupees. The staff is friendly and very cooperative. The decor is decent and complimented with chinese artefacts. They also have a bar for all people wishing to taste the golden liquid.
Next in line is Nebula, the moughlai cuisine Restaurant also belonging to the same owners. The food here to is very delicious and served in good quantities. However the place is a bit small and on a busy day might make it look very crowded and conjusted. The decor is decent with light shades of brown and yellow complimented by mirrors. The too provide lunch buffets having approximately the same costs as mentioned above. The cost is decent and worth the price paid for.
The snack restaurant is just in between the two restaurants serving all sorts of delicious food like pav bhaji, dosas etc.
They have valet parking services and not to forget its always crowded and you might have to wait 15 to 20 minutes on a normal day for your turn to come. Weekends attracts the maximum crowd at Gypsy specially during lunch hours. They even have facilities for organising small parties. All major credit cards are accepted. To enhance their wealth luck they have fish tanks attached to their Restaurants and boy! it has worked like magic for them. All in all, it is got the finest Restaurants for both Chinese and Moughlai lovers.
