We decided to go here since it is one of the few places close to our office, and we heard it has been around forever, and is quite famous in the shivaji park area. There were 14 of us, so we got to try a large selection of dishes, and besides the soup, each dish and desert was a disappointment.only the crab meat soup was worth eating. The prawns were smelling, the fish was stale, and the food was reeking of smelly oil. There was a large dead cockroach in the vegetarian dish.
To top it all, they were not at all sorry about the cockroach, and did not even waive off the money for that dish. Dingy place, but rates were the same as mainland china. Why would anyone go to this trashy place?? Please avoid.
Roadside food is more hygienic i feel. Tastier too. I don't know if it appeals to very desi chinese food lovers, but it certainly did not appeal to any of our palettes!
