If you visit Gwalior, don't forget to visit Gwalior fort. Gwalior Fort was built by King Man Singh Tomar and named it - Maan Mandir. This is a fabulous fort situated in a hill. You can see the entire gwalior city from the fort. Accessibility to this fort is easy. One way is - climb the fort and another way - there are taxis available which takes you to the fort. The light and sound show is superb and the history of Gwalior is narrated by Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Hotels are good near the fort and as far as safety is concern, gwalior is safe. Also visit, teli mandir, saas bahu mandir and scindia school.
