Few years back, this hospital was referred to as if the person enters this hospital as a patient, he/she won't come back alive from here. This was because it was really treated as a government organisation by the staff working there. But now the time has changed alot.The staff is totally cooperative( 90% , however excpetions are always there) . The machines and other medical equipment there are imported from other countries, out of which some of the machines are not even available in the private hospitals.
The students pursuing M.D there have to work hard to get a very good rank in the entrance to got admission there.the doctors are quite humble now. I once had a experience that, my friend's mother was suffering from gastric attack in stomach, my friend was standing in queue to got the form filled for admission. But his mother was unable to even sit and was feeling unconscious. I requested the doctor there to treat her immediately without the formalities and he agreed and did gave her injection. I was really happy to see that.
