*This is an original piece coming from me, unlike the zillion other reviews copied from every nook and cranny of the Web.

Guru! Indeed the name is impressive and so is Guru Bhai's resemblance with Dheeru-Bhai.

The story is revolves around this one character which transfomed himself from a villager-metric-failed-lad to the most  successful-sharp-business tycoon. Of course it took a lot for this young man to tread along the otherwise atypical path, which even his forefathers would have dared not to lay feet on. From an abysmally rural form of society to the owner of the nation's biggest textile manufacturer, it took a lot of courage for this man to realise his dreams.

One beautiful part of from the movie is that this man entered Mumbai with 15000 rupees in one hand, a wife, a brother-in-law and two cotton shirts to his name. Time takes a turn and within a few years this is the man who makes every Indian wear shirts of his industry. Very inspiring and motivating!

A wonderful quote from the movie is "agar saari duniya tumhari buraayi kare to samjho tum koi achha kaam kar rahe ho". True words!

Abhiskek is wonderfully casted in the movie as Guru Bhai and each act of his called for a loud applause. Gracefully maturing from a teenager to a 50-year old business man facing all odds of the society, he has done full justice to his act. There is not an iota of doubt that Abhishek has not done what was truly expected of the character. In his own charm and a style statement, he has shown what took to perform the role.

Aishwarya looks one of her best in the movie. This is one of her finest performances. A very strong character in the movie. The two-some look great together.

There are some major loop-holes in the movie which is why it is not easy to understand. Watch the movie and you shall know it yourself.

A better plot could have done wonders to the movie. Abhishek and Aishwarya take all the credit of the movie. AR Rehman has been good but not best.

The best song I feel is "Barso Re' and the best scene is the last 15 minute scene of Guru which was taken in one shot.

Vidya Balan is only used to show Guru's compassion. Madhavan has been relatively negative and performed poor. Mithun has been also been good.

After watching the movie, I believe the world will see many businessmen mushrooming around the globe and business would be the in-thing.
