A dilemma exists about surgery for gall stones. I was confused about the choice of treatment when an ultrasound scan showed gall bladder stone as an answer to recurrent stomach aches. I was referred to dr Rajashekar Nayak by a close friend. Dr Nayak explained very well, the consequences of surgery and without it. I underwent laparoscopic gall bladder removal surgery in their hospital. Dr Vasanth, another surgeon, was very efficient in understanding the history and extremely caring. The procedure was done with my doctor friend himself being the anesthetist. The nursing staff took very good care. There were well trained, fast and efficient. Even with regards to billing and discharge, the process was swift unlike other hospitals where an entire day goes in waiting. I returned home the next day after surgery and to normal work in 5 days. It has been 3 weeks now and I seem to have forgotten that I underwent a “surgery”. Thanks to Dr Rajashekar Nayak and his team.
