I visited MUSSOORIE in February, 2018. There I visited the famous Mall Road, Gun Hill, Lal Tibba( the highest peak of Mussoorie hills), Bhatta Falls, Kempty Falls etc.
So here I am going to share my experience of my visit to Gun Hills, Mussoorie. The Gun Hills is the second Highest peak point of the Mussoorie. It is located at a 2024m altitude. It is famous for picturesque view of Doon valley & snow covered peaks of Himalayas. It is second highest peak of Mussoorie hills after Lal tibba, which is the highest. It is 1.7 km from Mussoorie mall Road. It is named Gun hills because of its history as what happened was that during British period a canon was placed atop this hill used to fire in the afternoon so that people get to know what time of day it was. So it get named so. My experience of visiting this place was awesome. It can be reached through taxi or by ropeway from mall road. overall my experience of visiting this place is awesome. I will give 4/5 stars.
