Sanjubaba rulez. Review on Gumrah (New)

This movie came out in 1993 and was a hit movie.

The movie starts with Sridevi's mom dying and telling her that her father is alive somewhere in the world. Sridevi is a very famous singer in the movie with whom sanjay dutt is in love. He will do anything to win her heart.

Sanjay Dutt is a tapori in the movie like usual. He fights for money and people bet for him.Sridevi goes to mauritius to find her father and meets her friend rahul roy who said that he will help her find her father. So they decide to go to hong kong. Rahul roy puts drugs in to sridevi's purse and she is caught at the airport and apparently rahul roy runs away when he see police arresting her. Now sridevi is trapped in the jails of hongkong.

Sanjay Dutt finds that out he and goes to hongkong to help her. Sridevi tells him to find her father. Her father in the movie is Anupam Kher. sanju finds her father and tells him everything that has been going on. Anupam kher is also a lawyer in the movie so he decides to fight her case. They loose the case. Then sanju decides to go in the jail and help sridevi escape back to india.

This was a nice movie with a new story. The songs were great also. My fav was mein tera aashiq hun. Performance wise Sridevi was good as innocent girl in the movie. Sanjay dutt is great he does everything in the movie that actor has to do. He does his comedy and his action hero click. Anupam kher is good also. Rahul roy has only about 10 minutes he's all right. Overall it's movie worth watching consdering the movies coming out these days.
