Bad man. Review on Gulshan Grover

Gulshan grover is one of my favorite actors, JUst heard the name news that he will be playing the bad guy in the new james bond film called the casino royal, with the new james bond. James bond films require the villain to be stylish and unique and he's charismatic and has significant role and grover has all of that.

Gulshan grover was born and raised in delhi, he recieved his college degree in commerce. He always wanted to be an actor from childhood and used to do try his skills in theatre. He moved to mumbai to pursue a career in movies. Once t here he began his training at a studio and eventually became an acting teacher at the same school. MOst of the leading actor's today in bollywood were once his students.

He is well known as a versatile actor and actor of thousand faces. He has over around 100 films in his 20 years career. He has acted in many of superhit films and recived a lot of accolades, but it;s weird he hasn't recived awards. He is also one of the few indian actors who made to hollywood also.

He started his acting career in bollywood with the film hum paanch, with a side role. HIs next film was sanjay dutt's debut film rocky, in which he he has a little role in. Then villain roles started coming to him starting with the kamal hassan film sadma, in which sridevi plays a mental person. Next one was sohni mahiwal Starring sunny deol and poonam dhillon. He usually tried to get the heroine away from the hero in films.

Next one is a good role in the film maashal He plays a tapori along with anil kapoor, He gives a good performance in a short role, by the late 80's he was a well established villain in hindi films. Raping, killing, kidnapping, dishonest police inspector in films like mera haque, jeeva, jaan ki baazi, diwala, aaag hi aag, aalah rakha, hawalaat, inaam dus hazar were some of his movies in which he played a main villain in.

He is sometimes called gulli, or gullo because some of his movies he was named gulli or gullo. My favorite performance of gulshan grover has to be in the film ram lakhan in which he plays kesariya vilayti in which he is given a dialogue called badman. His performance in the film karz chukana was also pretty funny he plays a guy name gullu. His next big performance was in the film saudagar directed by subhash ghai he plays bali ram, along he had the support of amrish puri who plays chuniya dalip tahil etc.

In aatish he plays a one eyed gangster named kania, he can scare you with his looks sometimes like he had in aatish. His role as a comedian, villain in the film raja babu as banke is also noteworthy, when ever I catch rajababu I laugh at govinda, shakti kapoor, prem chopra and at his performance. Another one of my favorite performance has to be from the film mohra in which he plays tyson he had white hair and wore armani suits.

Some other good performances are in the film sabse bada khiladi in which he plays inspector kekda singh and in the david dhawan film laofer where he plays krupashankar. He stayed in pretty stong postion in bollywood until like year 2000, he only did 2 or 3 films a year after that. His last strongest performance was in the film hera pheri as kabira, digambar patil in hathyar, sadanand kutty in aagaz, khuswant chadha in film khel, he plays a inspector in the film paap. The last time he was villain was in film dus.

He has a some more hindi movies coming in tom dick and harry, durbar, marigold,vivah,sweet amerika,aryan.

One of the best villains of hindi industry who never got an award for even a villain, although the villain awards were started in 1992 the first villain award was given to sadashiv amparvkar for sadak. I wouldn;'t watch a hindi movies without a villain like gulshan grover, amjad khan, prem chopra, danny,amrish puri etc.
