SPLENDID!!!. Review on Gully Boy

The hype for this movie was unbelievable since the time of it’s trailer release. Everyone was really excited about this film and the anticipation was that it would be one of the best movies of 2019. It is indeed one of the best ones. Gully Boy truly captures the essence of the original rap music that’s been followed all over the world. It depicts that Rap music isn’t rapping about alcohol, girls and other senseless things. Rap is an art and a form of poetry. Ranveer Singh as usual delivers a Fabulous Performance keeping up with his good run of films but the real show-stealer in this movie is Alia Bhatt. What a brilliant performance she gave in this movie. Probably one of her best one yet( debatable) . Zoya Akhtar’s direction is on point and the movie is shot beautifully. One can argue that the movie could’ve been made a little shorter as it’s a 2 and a half hour film but nonetheless you’ll never be bored even for a minute. GULLY BOY is a must watch.
