I had a worst experience in working Gulf Mart in Kuwait. During the Interview, employees gets betrayed by the HR in terms of working hours and Job Responsibilities. The HR executive notifies the working hours as 10 hours during the Interview(8 hours is applicable according to Kuwait ministry of labor in private sector) but after joining the company, the employee gets a shock after he realizes that he have to work for more than 15 hours. Hence the Management is very dishonest and misguiding towards employees and they take advantage of their helplessness as they are seeking job in Kuwait as soon as possible.
After joining the Company, from the first day itself a hell of a day starts on the floor for the salesman, cashier, cleaner etc. Job responsibilities of Salesman apart from sales includes lifting heavy cartons of product, cleaning, gather small trolleys all over left by customers, packing goods behind the cash counters, running around the customers to give them trolleys forcefully which is so disgusting(as ordered by Management).
The life of cleaners are so pathetic that they don't get week offs at all except once or twice in a month.
Finally I really felt so bad for the cashiers as they have to work for more than 15 hours and they have to leave the floor at 2 am or 3 am at night. Hence they get a very little sleep and then they have come back on the floor early in the morning so no excuses. Really its a disgusting place to work to make a fool of themselves.
Here Employees are treated like donkeys by the Management and do not provide incentives regularly as promised after completing sales target. No PF, ESI, gratuity facility. The Management team are not professional at all and very cheap in negotiating with Salary. They hire mostly common rural people who are illiterate or less educated so that they can take the advantage of their ignorance. They are violating the laws of Kuwait Ministry of labor everyday beyond the limits.
May be the Management thinks that they are one of the superior professionals in the World but I must say that they are the most pathetic, Worst, Ridiculous and disgusting professionals ever in the entire world with cheap standards.
