Due to certain reasons I do not like watching Hindi movies much. As far as I remeber I liked a very few in recent times like Haasil, HAZARON KHWAHISHEN AISI. For some reason I always appreciate dark movies.
And here is this movie again GULAL. This movie appeals my heart. It was year 1995 when I was pursuing engineering in one of notoriuos college in Orissa where ragging is the famous passtime as not much activities to do in a remote sleepy area called Burla.
I can relate myself to this movie as some of the scenes were almost happened in our campus. Now come to this movie. I'm not saying it's a masterpiece, but i'm touched by this movie. All characters were there because they needed to be there. Even the small characters performed their part pretty well.
Director was clear what he wants and how all character delivers. Dialogues has strong impact in this movie. Rather I would say what the characters speak is normal way those kind of people speak and that's why dialogue is a plus point here in this movie. Songs are perfectly fit for this movie and i'm sure most of the audiences will like it.
Now come to leading characters performance. K.K- We all know what he is capable of and he did not disappoint any body. He is the Strong character in this movie and he handled it perfectly. He got intense looks and obviously the acting skills.
Abhimanyu Singh- He left a strong impact in this movie. He played as Ransa. Raj Singh Chaudhary - He is good in his a nice boy character. Chemestry between his and Ransa is awesome.
Piyush Mishra- He is an alrounder.
Deepak Dobriyal - He acted as second hand to K.K and he is impressive.
Pank Jha- Whatever his role is he is good in that role.

I recommend this movie if you like intense movies.
