We went there during the weekend for family dinner. Given that, one time before we had bad experience at Gufa- since noearlier reservation - we ensured that reservation is done in advance. The table was available immediately. No delay for that. The Ambience is overall great. Lives up it its name.
The service was fine for most part; though there was high delay(may be because of weekend) – which was fine for us- since we were in no hurry.
The food is on expensive side- which is expected given the ambience. Given the hype- we of course expected some exotic food. Overall the food was normal- nothing great given the ambience and the cost. It did not live up to the expectation. Esp. the “Afgan biriyani” was big let down- it was very close to normal Veg-pulao that one would get in average hotels. There is nothing "biriyani" about it or nothing "Afgani" about it.
So if expecting great exotic food- I won’t recommend. Go rather for the Ambience for group parties etc. Kids would certainly like this place - given the ambience.
