Many apps are there in android which keep running in background and many are there which autostart while we switch on the phone.
These apps have various processes that keep running even we do not open the app or have closed it from multitasking. Due to the running processes it drains the battery.
Greenify is an app that helps in stopping these background processes of the apps while the app is not in use.
It hibernates the apps we want in the background which can result in better battery life. The UI is fairly simple where it lists out all apps that auto started and we can add them to the hibernate list and apply.
After hibernating the selected apps those will not create any new processes in background and we can easily get them out of the list when we want. I have found this app to be very useful and I have noticed improvement in the battery life of my smartphone.
