I have had a corporate lunch with my team mates last month at this restaurant and we all throughly enjoy the meal. This restaurant is located in Kormangala, opposite to the Forum value Mall. This hotel is inside the Raheja Towers. We had parked our vehicles inside Forum Mall and came to the this restaurant. It is situated beside the busy streets of Koramangala so we got stuck in traffic for a while to reach this restaurant.

This restaurant has a perfect setting to comply with its name Gramin which means a village. The ambience they create is just perfect. The walls are painted with mud colour paint with drawings of cartwheels and pots in them to remind us of a village atmosphere. We had reserved seats for us priorly so they had put many tables together at the back to accommodate all of us. The chairs are quite interesting because they were quite low lying just like the ones we see at a local village household. The food was served of copper kadais. The water was kept on copper kettles and served on copper glasses. This was an awesome experience as the water remained quite cool and fresh.

The menu also made us quite surprising. Our team had majority of vegetarians so the made them quite happy as this restaurant was a purely veterinarian one. Infact they were ready to make dishes for us without even using garlic or onion as many vegetarians do not prefer them.

The list of starters were quite long and amazing too as the varieties they served were really rare. We ordered types of soups, hara bara khabas, makai kabas, different types of paneer platters. Amongst all these my favourite was the masala pappad. These were quite light and we couldn't stop from eating it. Another suprising starter was tawa karela. Most of them in the team did not like bitter gourd. So we said that this dish will not be good enough for us . But one of our friends who had tried it before forced us to order and taste it once and suprisingly it was too good. We did not feel its bitterness as it were throughly fried and crispy.

The main course with pulao, rice, sabjis, roti and naan were quite filling. The Gramin special pulao being the highlight. Some of the dishes were quite spicy for me even though they were tasty. Thus to cope with the spice of the dishes we had some fresh juices along with some hot gulab jamuns.

Hence we had a wonderful treat. It was just amazing because we had so many variety of pure vegetarian dishes. These dishes filled our hearts and stomach well.
