Google is one of my favorite search engines. I generally have the best luck with Google when I am doing internet research, and I have never had to do a second search.
This is important to me, because my internet research time is often very limited. If I have to spend most of my time searching for web sites I have even less time to spend actually at the sites I locate.
Google is incredibly easy to use, and is very user-friendly. The web site has a easy-to-use design and is simple to navigate, even for an internet novice. I have never had problems with slowness, a pet peeve of mine, and I have come across very few dead links while using it.
The links are displayed in the order of the ones that most closely match your search criteria and on down. I have only a few times had to go onto the second page of the results, as the first page is generally very complete and thorough.
Give Google a try if you have not done so yet; you may find you like its interface and abilities better than other search engines out there.
