Fast, faster, fastest. Review on Google

Google is without doubt one of the best search engines. Its so popular nowadays in my office if anyone wants anything they say ''do a google'' not ''search''

The best thing about google is it is very fast. Really fast. It works even if the connection is really bad. We at time use this website to see if the net is working ;-)

But nowadays I feel its not as accurate as it used to be. In the first page listing itself it has started throwing up less relevant stuff. But still better than many others. But do try hotbot, Ask Jeeves for a change.

Before google my favourite was Metacrawler. Then there is also Coppernic. But for this you need to download the software.

In Google there is an option to change the language. And I was so thrilled to see my mother tongue listed in that. Its fun do try changing the language to your mother tongue(if its something other than English.)

Another option I like in Google is search within results. This helps a lot to filter out unwanted stuff.

There is also a feature called ''I am feeling lucky.'' This takes you to the page most relevant to your site. Once in a while I used to get the correct website I was searching for!!! Recently the chance of that has diminished - maybe I am not so lucky!!! 80 per cent time it opens irelevant or hardly relevant site. So it all depends on your stars...

Overall its a good search engine. Now we can search for images also...
