Google Pay earlier known as Tez is developed and own by Google Baba. It is a UPI App and there is no wallet option. It is directly linked with your bank account but make sure your mobile number is updated at bank and same number must be in use within smartphone. Google Pay provides us lots of offers against transactions and on referrals. I Personally using this app for mobile recharge, train ticket, dth recharge, electricity payment etc. You can also pay at shops via scanning of qr codes. You can transfer amount to any bank directly via mobile number or bank details without any charges.
Customer support is also very good as far as my experience. One time iam recharged my dth but it not recharged but amount deducted from my bank account I think money will come back within 24 hours but thats not happened so I contacted to google pay support and representative assured me and told me that my money is safe and will be return within 48 hours, and got my money back within 48 hours
