Got a travel plan or just arrived at a new place.
Whether traveling by foot, car, bicycle or public transport. and suddenly feel/realize you are lost & need directions, but don't know whom to ask.
You probably don't need to if you have Google Maps to give you directions and even real time traffic information.
Google Maps offer several different views of the landscape - Street, Traffic, Map, Satellite, and Terrain.
You can also search nearby businesses, their user reviews, ratings and photos.
Updated Android app now also has offline search/navigation, but it is a limited feature. You won't get any traffic information, and photos & user reviews for businesses.
For directions, the feature works only with driving.
If you have a window phone, Here Maps might be a better option.
