I am using google chrome from a long time, I have experienced a very good performance from this browser, its easy to install and helps me to manage my recent viewed pages with ease, also I like the downloading support that google chrome provides, and easy maintained tab, facility to add bookmarks, adding extension for various apps that the chrome supports like IDM, IDE, ADD Blocker Plus, Grammarly e.t.c.
The other good function that I like is using the incognito mode every time I login to my Gmail, as this mode allows me to keep my privacy.
Regarding speed I realize that chrome is best. And if you are on Facebook I am sure that there can be no other browser other than google chrome to use facebook.
Further this browser allows you to set themes and so gives you access to the chrome web store where you can personalize the theme you want. Also it helps you to set your default search engine, and also have a option to restore your previous open pages in any case your system turns off and you lost the track of your work.
