I have just downloaded the Google chrome internet browser.. I feel it is more of an application platform to run various online content such as Streaming media, apps like word processors and spreadsheets (MS Office watch out)..
Many of us would like the incognito mode which allows anonymous cookie free searches (your secrets stay that way)
I have a XP machine with 1 GB ram and I find Chrome using much less memory (30MB) than Firefox (80MB) which is now my 2nd favorite (Sorry IE, you are not on my list)..You still might need IE for your banking sites though..
The interface is simple and unintrusive... I also loved the fact that the software has been written from scratch and the technology has been made open for others to benefit from (Microsoft are u listening?)
Since its only been a few hours and I did not find the correct category to put this review under I have used my best guess. Please accept my apologies if i've put his review under the wrong category..I hope google comes up with innovative and helpful add ons like firefox has..
I heavily recommend Google Chrome to be used as your next browser.
