The Google cardboard 3d VR box is pretty cool. Definitely something you can spend hours getting lost in trying to explore all of the different aspects.
Assembly is really easy. There are instructions on the cardboard itself and if you follow them directly, you should find yourself easily assembling the goggles. The head strap is a great addition because it can get tiring holding the goggles.
