Its would be very unfair to restrict the subject of bhai-bhai ka pyar as well as the khandan ki dushmani to the precint of Hindi cinema. Moreover, these two fundas are not only seen in human objects but also in the non-living objects too. Take an example of the biscuit market to prove this statement.

They call it as brand variant for the bhai bhai ka pyar and product wars for khandan ki dushmani ! Management lingo u know !

So, the destiny it showing us the khandani ki dushmanibetween the two prominent biscuit companies namely Britannia and Parle.

Britannia ke bachche hai bourbon, good day, fifty-fifty, Marie,Maska-Chaska, Tiger whereas Parle ke bachche hai Parle-G, Monaco, Crackjack and Hide and Seek.

The Good Day was born a few years back to fill the want of the saturated biscuit market in terms of different taste. Gavwale were looking for something that is rich and consists of butter. Seeking this opportunity, Britannia introduced their mightier son Good Day in the market. The wave surfaced Good Day containg the much liked butter was instant hit in the market.

Over the years, khandan ki dushmani badhti gayi. To answer the monolith Parle-G, Britannia introduced Tiger playing on its price..to counter this Parle tom-tomed Parle-G to be the largest selling biscuit in the world.

After other time, Britannia introduced Fifty-Fifty to counter Crack-Jack of Parle...

Dont conclude that Britannia always copied from Parle...

This does not hold true when we speak of impeccable cream biscuit range of Britannia. Pineapple cream, Pure Magic, Elaichi Cream , Orange Cream are selling like hot cakes in the market and belong to Britannia.

A few years back, it was felt that the gaowalas are taking taste of chocolate. Sensing it Parle introduced Hide and Seek, a pure choco biscuit containing the choco chips. Needless to say, it was an instant hit ! This was the time to Britannia to replicate...

What could be the better time to introduce ''bhai-bhai ka pyar'' !The stagnated GoodDay brand was rejuvenated with a few variants. Good Day Choc-Nut was one of such variant.

Packed in a violet attractive packing, the Good Day Choco-Nut contains the typical Good-Day shape biscuits with ample quantities of cashew and the same choco-chips that are also found in Parle's Hide and Seek !

Good-Day biscuits were always considered a tad premium compared to the regular biscuits and with ample quantities of chocs and nuts, the product was supposed to be a little costlier... The normal pack containing exactly 10 biscuits is sold for Rs. 15 !

The way to enjoy is to take one biscuit, break it in two pieces and relishing its taste for 10 minutes...then next biscuit.... The butter taste with choc and nut is always a pleasured experience.

Moving away from the taste, the biscuits are kept in a thin plastic tray and packed with an attractive violet stuff !

What a wonderful copy of Hide and Seek...And u were thinking its only Annu Malik who copies and Hindi movies show khandan ki dushmani ! Dekh lo gavwalon, competitors ko jawab dene ke liye kaise bhai-bhai ka pyar kam me aata hai !
