Fun?. Review on Golmaal (2006)

I tried to watch this movie with a completely open mind. I did have some expectations because of the star cast. I like all of the actors in this movie. EACH ONE OF THEM. I have seen movies like No Entry, Hera Pheri (1&2), Malamaal weekly, Andaaz apna apna etc and liked them all very much. I even like the Three Stooges. This proves that I am perfectly capable ot leaving my brain out when watching a comedy. Sadly, I must say I was thoroughly disappointed by Golmaal. This movie was a total piece of crap and a huge waste of time. The situations were boring, acting mediocre and gags tasteless. The background sound effects were third rate. They only serve to remind the viewer that the director thinks this is where they are supposed to laugh. They were extremely unoriginal and mainly consisted of 'toing' and 'boing' sounds that would better suit a scooby doo cartoon. This is slapstick at it's worse. I am shocked to see all these positive reviews.
