A great car that i bought as a used car in 2003 and it is good in terms of driving pleasure, control and manuverability, especially turning radius which is very short and i am able to turn the car even on small roads and park without difficulty! I have so far driven some 58 k kms and still going great;

The mileage i get is fabulos 14.5 without ac and 13.25 with ac on! Which i think is record considering the model and usage;

when i go for my new car i would certainly have hyundai as my first choice and only maruti as second; but one thing that hyundai need to do is launch santro diesel version quickly or else they would loose good loyal customers like me who wants to stick on to hyundai makes but do not have good choice in fast growing crdi based diesel segments;

Reg space - the car is very spacious for my small family and friends and i have been driving the car between kerala and chennai and found it very convenient and comfortable to do self-driving; even my family enjoyed the drive without any major discomfort;

my only concern is cost of spares and labour charges- recently the delco concked and i had to shell out 13.5 k incl labour; similarly when my right side mirror broken i had to shell out rs.595 incl labour; to replace a roof lamp switch, could you believe, the dealer (dsc hyundai, saligramam) charged rs.45 as labour whereas the switch cost rs.7! Similarly indicator bulb which cost rs.9, costed rs.35 for labour; this is something stagerring and surprising therefore i seldom go to authorised dealer for any minor replacement or repair but go to a good mechanic next door;

on highway, i touched 90-100 quiet easily and the car was very stable at that speed without any vibration or woblling; which is a great thing! On a high way i got 17.5 kms for every litre of petrol which is again a great thing! Tanq santro! I love you!
