The Basic concept of GoldQuest is nothing but that of Amway ! Here in GoldQuest, everyone talks about the key words “Pyramid” and TCO.
What are “Pyramid & TCO”
If I rightly remember, it was in the year 2002, I came to know about GoldQuest through my cousin brother Raj at USA. He literally whimpered on his visit to India about his worst horrifying experiences with GoldQuest. He had joined the Pyramid but literally unable to introduce even the basically required persons for him to earn any points. For his introduction of 4 members, there was no proper communication from GoldQuest and those members introduced by him had been right behind him with a mentality that he had done injustice to them.

Well, here, the Pyramid starts with you as the TCO (Tracking Centre Owner). If you are quite familiar with Amway’s Pyramid structure, you are sure to understand the same concept over here too.
All you have to do is to first subscribe yourself for their Gold coins. The price of a Gold coin at GoldQuest is $700 (plus you have some shipping and insurance charges), but they don’t force you to make the complete amount as the upfront payment. You would be required to register with them (sort of giving them a guarantee kind of a thing) to purchase the gold coin at an initial payment of $330, i.e., $300 being cost of the coin and $30 towards shipping & insurance charges.
OK, now you are through with it !!! What should you do next ? You have to persuade two persons (to widen your pyramid) to purchase the coins at the same cost. At least on making the down payment (there’s no guarantee that this amount would be refunded), those two persons have to guarantee GoldQuest purchase of gold. Now you (being introducer of these two persons) gets commission because of their purchase. Again, these two persons (each) have to introduce 2 more persons to GoldQuest in the same way. For per member introduction, you would be entitled for a commission worth $40.010101.
Lot of MSians have already penned about GoldQuest & so I don’t think any further essay writing is required by me about the Company. But what are my opinions about this kind of a set-up of GoldQuest ?
• It is a shocking fact that GoldQuest sells Gold Coins for $700 whereas the real value of those coins doesn’t work out anything better than $250
• There have been several shocking incidents about persons who had dispatched the initial deposit and are still awaiting for years to receive the response from GoldQuest, despite several mails
• GoldQuest swears that it is not just buying gold coins but it is kind of acquiring new friends – but should you take risky steps to acquire gold coins which are not even worth half their real value
• The persons below you on the Pyramid have to forcefully invest a considerable sum of money to give a commitment to GoldQuest. But should you force them to put in their hard-earned money for the possible or not possible commissions?
• Persons on top of the Pyramid enjoy more benefits in terms of Commissions, whereas the lowest members on the Pyramid get lesser benefits, despite investing the money as much as you have already invested. So, if really realized, how many people do you really think would blindly become a member just by your sweet words?
• While gold coins are generally considered in our country as a sign of present investment for future benefits (which could be sold out at a higher price in future), are these gold coins going to be valuable to you that way?
• Also, the practicality is that, it is impossible to develop your Pyramid beyond 12 members. This itself is possible only if you are a over extrovert having many friends and it is really a terrible task to persuade people to enter into your pyramid
• Most of all, I personally feel that, before stepping into the GoldQuest, please make sure whether it would be beneficial to you as well as to the ones you introduce and that it doesn’t the goodwill between yourself & the others you introduce
