Golden Temple is the most beautiful place I've ever been seen. You'll want to spend at least 2-3 days in Amritsar, and take in the Temple during the day as well as at night. Absolutely breath-taking, and welcomes people from all walks of life. During the busiest times, it can take an hour or two of waiting to get across the gilded bridge to pay your respects in the inner sanctum of the Temple. But it is well worth the wait! Once you have this experience, don't forget to partake of some of the blessed Prasad from the sevadars. Afterwards, you can also enjoy a free vegetarian meal at the Golden Temple Langar Hall, which is a wonderful experience. Definitely an experience you'll never forget!
