One month ago when I visited ernakulam with my family, we saw this Gold Souk Grande which was reasonably large in size and situated in the heart of the city to be precise in vytila! But as we enter inside we were shocked there was no one inside hardly we could see some 10-20 people wandering here and there including some security staffs also! And almost 80% of the shops were closed and we could luckily saw a ice cream parlour in the ground floor.
Slowly our hopes for shopping there diminished and lost as we enquired we get to know that almost all the shops had been closed and the others too are getting closed soon and now the Q cinemas are the only reason left for people to come there! Some small food courts are left on the top floor and you will get disappointed if u go there expecting something good to eat! I think the mall is going to get closed completely in some months so don't go the mall, instead you can go to the other malls in city itself which is entirely different than this Gold souk mall!
