I used to visit this restaurant quite often earlier and then the quality of food went bad. So I stopped. Later after their renovation, my wife and I decided to try it again, especially since I had got a voucher from Snapdeal for a discount in the bill. We had a pretty good meal and then I presented the vouchers for billing. Immediately, the waiter stiffened and said it is not possible as I needed prior table booking to use the voucher.
I asked them how it mattered whether we booked a table or not when the restaurant is so empty and they rudely said that booking is mandatory. Beware of this problem at Golconda Chimney. Be careful if using any vouchers etc. I have used these vouchers at a number of restaurants before and not faced any issue.
Finally after all the argument, , there was a 10% service charge added on to my bill. I guess they were afraid I wouldn't leave any tips, so better safe than sorry. Anyway, not planing to visit this restaurant with their lousy manners. They have no idea about customer service.
