HOTEL BOOKING - A MESS AT GOIBIBO

I have booked my hotel through goibibo in Coorg(a small hill station near Bangalore). I booked for one night initially, based on the service and quality of the hotel I was supposed to extend the visit and I choose the option pay at hotel.


For first day, the email I got from goibibo that I have to pay 1800 INR for the hotel, Hotel conditiona and other things were quite okay so we(my friend and I decided to extend the visit to another day and this time I got an email that I have to pay 2100 INR, I was quite okay with this. When we were checking out from the Hotel, Hotel guy asked us to pay 7000 INR for the two days. I was shocked and then he show me the emails he got from goibibo team that to collect 7000 INR from us. That time was 9 o' clock in the night and we had a bus to catch at 10 back to Bangalore correspondingly we had a flight in late morning the next day to NEW Delhi. Goibibo solved the issue in 5 hours and we missed the bus and we missed the flight also, upon requested by me that can I pay the amount first at the hotel and leave but there was nobody who could take the call. One person connecting me to another and another to another. Whole night I was talking to the goibibo staff. That was the complete mess created by goibibo.


Then, I wrote the email to them regarding the problem they were told me that in any case you would miss the flight so this is not our fault. They clearly gave me the reply. I had to suffer the loss of 15000 INR because of their problem and then I decided not to go for goibibo - they are the worst web service for the hotel. And the same case happened with one of my friend that he got some another amount to pay and hotel guy got some another amount. Goibibo is worst in the customer satisfaction and services. Please dont use.
