I booked a hotel for four days through GoIbibo. In their voucher, they mention that your booking is confirmed, and you do not need to contact hotel but to my horror, when I reached the concerned cit, I was told by the hotel that the hotel is overbooked and they will adjust me in some other hotel.
They put me in a hotel in a dingy lane. Though I had booked and paid for the highest category room (super deluxe) in the initial hotel, I was provided an ordinary room in a much inferior hotel. As a large conference was going on in the city and I had no other option at that night hour, I had to check-in under protest. All subsequent complaints to Goibibo were futile. Now, I will have to file a case against them in consumer court for justice.
