Service fraud by Godrej security solutions. Review on Godrej Security Solutions

I own privy safe since 5 years. Recently it developed issue that password was not acknowledged and was not opening. It had to be opened with key. I registered complaint with company and promptly the service technician named Praveen called you and visited. The vista charges were 650 rs and to baa paid irrespective of service rendered. He opened the locker system and reported everything is burnt( Battery compartment, PCB , touchpad ) he quoted an amount of 9000 + GST for parts. I being head of quality in an electronic manufacturing major got suspicious and asked my son to send photos of what service technician says as burnt!! . My suspicion grew as there was no abnormal burnt marks on PCB, we asked him to close the safe. He came up with proposal that he will dismantle and take locking system to service centre and get it repaired instead of replacing and quoted rs 6000 + GST . My suspicion grew and sent him off asking to order parts. When i investigated the defect it was just corrosion of cable at battery compartment, it was replaced and by me and my son at a cost of 20 rs !!!, the sage started working fine. When i confronted the technician with this fact he repeatedly told he is acting according to protocol but Godrej service instructions. This is unethical for a company like Godrej who claims customer satisfaction and customer centric approach. Be aware of this fraudulent method of making money through their service network and don't fall prey
