We got this fridge few years back ... as a joint family (we needed a bigger fridge). Though we never owned a Godrej fridge before, considering the reputation of Godrej, we blindly opted for this. However, problem started right away. There was constant water leakage and we called up service center ..several times before a person came to fix it. We had to spend 400 INR for the visit and then, within a week .. the problem started again.
After several attempts ... we got another person come home to check it. Again nothing, except visiting charges. Since we had a small fridge, we were able to manage all along. Finally, the fridge stopped working and the service personnel told .. the model itself is a failure model. So nothing can be done except fixing it repeatedly though every visit was charged - while in the warranty period.
We changed several parts and within two years, we spent over the cost of the fridge. That's when we decided to throw it once for all! Horrible experience dealing with their after sales support and we never looked at another Godrej home appliance since.
