I purchased a Godrej Interio Genius Study Table model No. 208 on 21/June/2017 from Godrej Interio authorised showroon "furniture kraft" at vasant vihar Gwalior, at no discount and full cash down payment.
One lever of the table broke down on 30/06/2017, which is a part of its desk opening. I called up Furniture Kraft at the number mentioned in the bill invoice but my call was never received and this was the only number supplied to me and that too on bill invoice a number of times on 01/07/2017. I have call recorded for verification.
I even filed a request online on customer care. One representative called up to inquire the matter . I was told to file another complaint online and that the vendor may have supplied an old stocked item.
Eventually it is not my concern and how come I know that the item was old or new Godrej does not provide any manufacturing details on the item and I was shipped a demo item which I even wrote on the bill invoice when I received the same and communicated to the supplying person that the door alignment was not proper. I was told not to worry about after sales services.
On 02/07/2017 after registering complaint one representative of godrej from Bhopal called me to inform that the supplier has informed that I have used the table for seven days and the lever broke due to use. CERTAINLY I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO BUY A USABLE/CONSUMER ITEM AND DEPOSIT THE SAME IN SOME BANK SAFE LOCKER FOR BREEDING. Which I thing is what Godrej believes in. Any what about WARRANTY is it hoax?
I have not received any call from any of their representative since then till today. This is what you get relying on a brand name in India. It seems that godrej is in a habit of supplying on government orders and than drawing payments on faulty supplies through bribing, at least I have realiased this only to be their modus operandi.
Certainly end users cannot rely on such irresponsible and duty evading company.
