The best pro of this machine is its look. We bought the EON with colored interiors and have found that most people compliment us on the good looks of this fridge. There are choices of exterior finishes in copper or silver and thats good coz you can mix and match interior and exterior combinations. Wish they provide more choice of colors in interiors. when we bought there were just blue and light pink.
Now for the functional part of the fridge, its solid, less hum and sturdy. I found it cools very very fast. There are separate vegetable and fruit trays. which is good and bad. Because normally for the weather of Blr fruits can be kept outside and there arent too many fruits to warrant a big tray and consequently the space is wasted. This leads to smaller compartments at the top half of the fridge. There are four compartments and on the side doors there are compartments with enuf thought given to the fact that there might be bigger sized bottles too. The freezer has compartments as well and the space is enuf for me to freeze meat and dals/maida etc separately. There is a intelligently provided hook to hang your packets of meat/peas etc in the freezer. They do advertize the deodizer aspect of the fridge and I consider it its pro. since I really think food doesnt smell in this fridge. Also you will notice all the areas of the fridge are completely lighted when you open the door unlike most fridges that have dark lower shelves. The door handles are very very strong in the 342l version of this fridge. And they complement the look of the fridge.
Now for some really annoying aspect of this fridge. it has got a warning tune for when you have left the door ajar for too long. I think the time setting is esp low and the fridge starts a loud irritating tune after abt 50-60 secs. There is no way to switch this bugger off for good. You have to reset the timer physically. Hopefully they innovate on this aspect in the later versions.
Service and sales was decent experience for me. We had a issue immediately with the buzzer knob I wrote earlier to you abt coming off as soon as we bought the fridge but the service was prompt. It will be nearly 3 years for us and so far not one service issue has arose. Touch wood!
Go for it I say. the looks will for sure catch ur attention. Its pricey but unique as well.
