I had purchased a double door Godrej EON refrigerator on Sunday (7-Apr-2019) from Capital Electronics, Ultadanga, Kolkata and the product was delivered on 10-Apr-2019. On 11th of April, the Refrigerator had stopped working and Whatever was there inside the refrigerator got rotten including fish, cooked food, etc. When I tried to contact the customer service (1800 209 551) at around 10 PM, it was getting disconnected abruptly after stating that the call would be monitored. I tries several times and the result was the same.
I could book a call on 12-April and technician visited my house. After inspecting, he said that the compressor was not working and needs replacement. He had asked us whether we would like to change the entire refrigerator or only the compressor. We opted to change the entire refrigerator and now we have to wait for another 7 days for the replacement. We will be without the refrigerator for these 7 days. Service paper is attached herein.
I had purchased Godrej instead of some leading internal brands only because it was an Indian brand. But, now I think had made a wrong choice as I had never imagined that we had to go through so much pains. I do not understand how Quality Control works there.
Wanted to bring it to your notice. I wish no other customer faces this pain again.
