I bought a split Godrej AC(inverter). I bought the AC on April 6, 2024 and after several calls, the AC was installed on 11 April 2024. From the day of installation, the outdoor unit was horribly noisy which was complained of right on the spot, but the Godrej officials turned a deaf ear to the complaint.
A day after the outdoor unit started sounding like a dynamo and seemed that somebody was firing a machine gun on my rooftop. I formally lodged a complaint( No. K1604706337).
From then on, we have been trying to follow up the call on Whats App . And every time we tried to follow up the call, There were always' a technical problems at the moment'. Whenever we tried to call on the customer care and explained the issue, they tried to convince that the technicians will be arriving in hours. Which were never going to happen. After an altercation with the customer care( 9874329718) they tried to pass the buck on to the seller. But they never bothered to attend the call. In the meantime we were being grilled at 46 degree day in and day out. Already 72 hours are gone after the complaint, but except wording out hollow assurances the staff at Godrej failed to provide even a fraction of the service the sellers assured.
I strongly advise the readers to stay away from GODREJ to save your skin. I shall soon be moving to the consumers court if they fail to resolve the issue within 24 hours.
