My experience after 2 month with Godrej1.5TSplitAC. Review on Godrej AC

Hi all,

I live in hyderabad. I was confused which AC to buy to beat this summer.

After some research, I shortlisted 3 company LG, Godrej and Samsung.

For some reason, I am not a fan of any samsung products. I have the fear when will it breakdown always.

So, I kept Samsung as the last option.

Now, LG and Godrej were left.

When I compared the features to price, Godrej 1.5 Split AC was cheaper than LG (Obviously).

Just by keeping these facts in mind, I went to an electronic store.

He said, you can go for any AC, not to worry, service wise samsung is good these days.

I was not convinced.

On the way back, we went to TMC, as there was an offer for ACs.

I was received well by their representatives. When I looked at the features of godrej AC,

It had almost everything I needed, Air filters, de odorizer, timers, sleep mode, auto mode etc.

for that day, in the offer, I bought it for 24,990/- and with stabilizer and Installation, it came up to 27,500.

And there was a zero percent EMI also going on. and when I enquired, they said, I ll have to pay 990/- and take home the AC and rest in 0% 12 EMIs. I was impressed and immediately booked the AC. This was on a sunday.

The representative told me there was no stock and they would send it by tuesday. and installation would be done by thursday. I accepted and came home.

For my surprise, next day, they called me and said, they would be delivering the AC on monday only.

And AC was delivered to me by monday. And on wednesday, again they called and said, they would come and do the installation. and viola!! I have my AC up and running after a 2 and half hours of installation.

I had a little problem getting the stabilizer fixed as I had to do it from an unknown electrician otherwise it was all good..

Now, the performance:

My room is around 12x12 on the 5th floor with no floors above.

The first day's night, we initially started it at 22°, just in 4-5 mins, we started feeling little cold., and after half an hour., we had to increase the temperature and after a couple of hours, we ended up setting it at 28° and slept peacefully the whole night.

After getting accustomed to the AC, these days, we put it to 30° and set the auto mode and sleep off.

It is very comfortable. we don't have to use blankets, but we don't feel the heat absolutely.

The sound is also very less and I feel its a great peace of mind after installing this AC.

I expect not to get a heart attack after I get my electricity bill as it is a 5 star rating.

Let me update the review after I get my bill though.

I would definitely recommend godrej ACs to others.

Hey, I have got my electricity bill last month.

As I have already mentioned, I used it all night and for a couple of hours in the afternoon.

and on weekends, day long except for early mornings and late evenings.

My bill came to 1095/- viola!!!

with out AC I used to get around 300 approx. so thats really decent.

And even after 2 months, the performance is very good. No complaints.
