Last year our college organised a Goa trip of 4 days. For a college student Goa is the best place to have some memorable experiences. Once visited, I often try to find a way to visit it again but unfortunately not yet succeed.
It has a flavor of Portuguese who ruled it for a long in past, which makes it even more interesting. In India it is the best place to enjoy western culture. With beautiful beaches it has some astonishing monuments also, which will take you to the journey of a different culture, a mix of South India and western world.
Some of the best beaches of Goa are-Colva beach, Benaulim beach, Betalbatim beaches, Varca beach, Hollant beach, Chapora beach, kegdole beach, baga beach. Beaches found in North of Goa are more lively while of South are pleasant.
Besides beaches some of the monuments famous in Goa are-Reis Magos Fort, Shantadurga temple, Church Square, Fort Terekhol, Fort Aguada, Viceroy's arch and many more.
Famous food not to be missed in Goa-Rava fried fish, kulkul, Ros omelette, prawn balchao. Not many good dishes are there in Goa for vegetarians.
There are many things you can do in Goa like surfing and enjoying other water sports. But Goa is best known for bars and casinos. For an adult it is heaven. Casino royal is a fantastic place for it. Grand 7 casino and Crown casino are also adorable.
If you are fond of trying new places your list is incomplete without Goa.
