I am visiting goa for nearly 7 times. 5 times when iwas single and 2times with spouse. But the really enjoying goa like a hippiesis a different pleasure than as a couple.
When in college we used to visit goa 4 days with 3 to 4 friends. And aftermarriage with same friends but couples. Being such a experienced of 7 visits I would like to share with some very helpfultips or your fully paisa vasul goa trip.
1) always stay near calangute or baga beach a walking dist from the beach. cozthe real goa is on the beaches and not in the city. There are plenty oflocal peoples turned there houses as guest houses. These guest housed arereally cheap and value staying they also provide A.C rooms and good furnished rooms.If you stay in the city you will miss all the fabulous night life of thebeaches
2) enjoy most of your stay and time at calangutecoz other beaches colvaand anjuna worth an hour visit. The real goa is on calangute beach. Mirmar andrest of the beaches are worst than mumbai chowpaty.
3) visit shanta durga mangeshi and church and chopra fort .the river cruize isa waste of time and money.
4) explore goa on hired 2 wheeler or urown 4 wheeler avoid taxis
5) enjoy all the water sports specially banana ride and paraglyding onthe calangute beach. You will not get these kind of water sports any whereenjoy them.
6) if you are a new to drinks and alcohol do not try kaju feni its justa country liquor i.e desi and is very hard and higher consumption will spoil yourwhole trip.
7) goa visit is never complete without a visit to pub and discos.
For hippies there are plenty of pubs and discos in calangute and baga andspecially for hippies go Saturday and Wednesday nite parties in anjuna. If u get entry intitos enjoy the great times it is one of the best disco in goa.
For couples go only titos and mambos don’t go for cheap and hippiesspecial discos and pubs. If going to titos u should have your own vehicle cozcoming back in the late morning around 3 oclock is imposible without a vehicle.
Calangute and baga is very safe even in nights
8) enjoy goa with playing in the water and drinking while sunbathing. Go for asunset walk along sea side on the beach while enjoying sun set.
9) Night is also a beautiful time to enjoy in goa beaches.there are tables onthe beaches where u have sunbath for your dinner and drinks .enjoy a candlelight dinner with your loved once.
10) goa is a very safe and nice place to try some hot and sexy clothes foryou and your partner if notpermitted to be in your hometown,try swimwear or hot pants or minisavailable on the roadsides of calangute.
11) there is nothing special about food for vegetarianslike me so no special comments about that.
12) Don’t ever indulge yourself in any unlawful activities like drugs, prostitutes, massages and roadside fights. Beware of roadside agents nevertrust them, beware of drunken persons in the nights.
