Those who like casual atmosphere, beaches and cheap beer, dont think twice plan a trip to goa. Any time of the year is fine. I would say avoid tourist season. Try out monsoon its fun. The rain the beer and the beaches are a heady mix. And to top it the hotels are cheap. For couples thats good time.
Even summer is good, but very hot. Cut clean beaches are a welcome change after seeing all these polluted ones in Mumbai.
Another good thing of Goa is it fits into ur budget. You have the five starsand also the beach lodges. So its upto you to decide.
If you eat fish then try out one of those small house-turned-hotel joint. Happening fish and the spirit u want.
The people are nice. Non-interfering. During season the price shoots up and its very crowded. So its either climate or budget.
If you have a vehicle or atleast if you know to drive or ride one then no issues. Otherwise travelling is not so smooth. But manageble.
This is one place you can visit either with your friends or your family.
But one condition - you should like to chill out in life...
