Viva Goa.Goa is one of the beautiful places in the world for its natural rich, appealing beauty. Well known tourist spot on the world map. Beautiful Greenland, mountains, valleys, sandy strip of shore, dune, beaches, forests, and water falls, rivers, lakes and limitless view of Arabic sea with heavy rains, pleasant winter and mild summer. Loveable weather around the year.

Goa is neat, fresh, orderly, presentable, cool, humid, breezy, surrounded by hills covered by trees and more…It is full of star hotels, restaurants, night clubs, live musical bands, cruise, passenger & fishing boats, ferris, barges, and more. Some spots are so well known for westerners gathering, for good food, music, shopping centers, and night out, beach parties, water sports, sun tanning, swimming and more……

From fort Agwada beach resort to Baga beach is very special area surrounded by pizza huts, McDonalds, pubs, lounges, jazz clubs, live music, dance clubs, art galleries, ayurveda and meditation centers, handicraft merchants, restaruntas, shopping malls, all kind of marketing centers organized in attractive manner with lighting and different decorative things. If you walk on the street in the late evening, it looks like Lasvegas or Reno, great entertaining street occupied by only foreigners, looks like you are in Hollywood Boulevard

There is one more attractive spot by name Arombol (Harmal) beach, in 60 s very well known for hippies place. Still it is far from the main city and very remote, lonely accompanied by hills. Locals have created small huts and cottages in the hills by beach so you get the view of the Arabic sea and support of mountain.

Long back, I use to visit every weekend the beach to teach music to the foreigners. It was great fun. One day one of my students took me in the mountain for trekking, stream in the mountain, coming to the sea, not a proper way to climb, making the way and climbing in the kind of forest by the stream. At few places, foreigners were there in the mountain experiencing the natural life like naturists. Finally, we reached the point where he wanted to take me. Under the big Banyan tree with the group of hippies chanting mantras, Bam bam Bhole…

One of them was great Guru so called(white man). He introduced me to all spiritual people saying, my music teacher.Totally different worldEuropeans visit Goa very often, they come here to relax enjoy every thing in great way. Few come here to learn music, yoga, meditation and some teach Indian things to Indians because they have studied seriously & deeply.

I had opportunity to perform music all over Goa, with fusion band for few years, for beach parties and different events, like International jazz festivals and all most all the five star hotels in Goa.It was all together very good some thing different experience..

There was time I accompanied on vocals to a Kathak dancer from Mumbai, she use to come down every weekend to perform in Goa.I said very soon I will be moving to USA, she replied Goa is almost like USA, why you want to move, you are in USA already. I would never forget her compliment about Goa is so beautiful. Whenever I travel abroad I never forget to talk about Goa, mostely in Canada and USA, people do not know much about Goa. It is great nature’s gift to us.Viva Goa.
