Recently (last 2 weeks ago), I have travelled on business trip from Pune to Bangalore and back. While return I found that my check-in baggage wheel is broken by Go Air . I noticed the same while uploading my bag in the Cab at Pune Airport. I immediately wrote to Go Airline that my baggage was mishandled and baggage wheel is broken by their folks. Also, I cross checked the same with the Samsonite service center before I wrote to them. They also confirmed that this damage is not due to normal wear and tear but it was thrown on the ground badly due to which the wheel got broken. I had to pay Rs. 350 for the wheel replacement. But the airline simply denied my concern mentioning various terms and condition that such damage are not covered by Airline and customer need to ensure that their baggage are handled safely. In fact, nothing is covered under reimbursement if you check their terms and condition.


I am not sure how someone can break your asset/stuff which is not owned by them and assure us that they take utmost care of our stuff. Moreover this airline is so stingy that even after doing such mischief that they are not ready to pay the amount. Anyway, Rs. 350 doesn't matter for us where we spend hefty amount on airline tickets, hotel and food, but the kind of respect, commitment and trust is no where shown by Go Air.


I would like to advice all the folks who opt for GoAir that think twice of your stuff as today they denied my request for reimbursing minimal and genuine expenses of Rs. 350 against their mistake but even they may not be ashamed to deny your grievances for misplacing/stealing the stuff inside the bag as they have clearly mentioned in their terms and condition that nothing is considered for redemption .


Be careful of such fraud airlines...
