I am using gmail since 2010 and till now it has helped a lot. They give an online storage of 15GB which suffienct to save our office work and also backup some images of our family and loved ones. Gmail app is almost on all kind of mobile devices with internet connection. I prefer gmail over others like Yahoo, Hotmail, Rediff etc because they are a bit technicall designed. But gmail on the other hand is quite easy to use and also its easy to recover password if we have the information required. Till 15GB its free bur they charge a pretty decent amont in case of more than 15GB.
