My mom wonders and remembers those flashbacks in 1990s wer she used to send letter mails via post to her husband! And when even she logs into the Gmail, she remembers those pasts and amazingly looks at the Gmail and says "Son, See how the technology has changed. Those days we had to send letters and wait for replies for weeks but today its just a click of buttons and u get reply mails even within seconds"!
Yes, that true. GMail has changed the phase of Mail technology to the greatest level.
Today, we cant show one computer known person who is not using a Gmail. Everyone, Starting from kids, Professionals, students, officials, govt and even business people use gmail for various purposes including Sending personal mails, business proposals to even marriage Invitations!
I would say, after Nokia, its Gmail, which is Connect every People on planet earth. And there are chances that it will go cross borders beyond limits.
The goods with Gmail -
1) Reading mail have become easy. Just a click and you see the mail. Even the quick view tells the mail contents in the name of "Subject"!
2) Easy composing - Just enter new mail, Type the mail id, add a subject(or not) and fill up the content and Send it.!
3) Add up Text Styling like Color, Bold, italics, hyperlink, etc.
4) add upto 20mb and more of attachment in one mail. Just one click, attach a pic or video and u r done!
5) Mail divided into Primary, social and promotions.This actually makes us to filter the mails according to our needs.
6) Add up Labels for each mail and highlight ur mail depending on ur easiness of separating! this is best for future reference.
7) Spam mails are automatically Filtered.
the problems I faced wer -
1) If internet connecting is slow, it takes a lots of time to load Gmail. sometimes it doesn't even connect.
2) I get a lots of unknown spam and fraud mails into the Primary inbox. Thats irritating sometimes. And there is no way to block such mails.
Other than this Gmail also has an inbuilt Chat support called "Google Talk". This allows us to send instant msgs to our known ones. You can also talk with others on Google talk. I have done this many times and spoke with persons in Delhi and abroad. Voices at Both the sides are mint clear.!
GMail has also recently introduced a new sharing portal called "Google+". This enables us to shares different things like Videos, photos, posts, etc.
Overall, I have been using Gmail for over 12 yrs now and have over 6 accounts with me. From then till now, I have never faced a problem with Gmail.
I recommend Gmail more that hotmail and Yahoomail.
Gmail is truly user friendly.!
