Google's gmail is now growing faster than any other web based email providers in the https:// The reason is simple. Their account can only started with other gmail users invitation. And each new user gets five invitations to give to their friends and so on.
That is the chain spreads broader and broader and the number of accounts increases in factorials! A truely professional way of starting a new business...first making it rare and precious and spreading the popularity via the customers...and not through unwanted adds! Thus their first step really clicked and gmail is now one of the internets best.
Their inbox is the simplest one I have ever seen. The number of link buttons are less and the display is eye catching. Simple html display of each messages takes less time to download and a lot of customizable folder options. The search tool and automatic address fill are fine.
And about the 1000Mb storage, its really fantastic. No need to delete any messages for years. Im sure that you will love to set gmail as your official email id.
The inbox display is like conversations and it first irritated me a little but now its ok. The rest of the features are similar that of yahoo and hotmail.
The site first needs a few seconds to get into your inbox and after that it is quite fast.
