I bought top of the line hob & chimney from gilma, only because it offered functionality that I needed. its been a horrible experience. my simple suggestion:
DONT BUY GILMA PRODUCTS. when problems started, I suspected they gave me a used system even after paying full money in advance. their "customer ABUSE centre" (CAC) is the definition of arrogance. their dealer located on ring road in bangalore has the attitude-"i have got your money and I dont care". I feel they have an agreed system where if you call dealer, he asks you to call CAC; if you call CAC, they ask to call dealer. there is no person for escalation also.
Since I dont believe either dealer or CAC are answerable to anyone - they have got the franchise & they are the boss. within 2 days the knobs were breaking, letters on the chimney got faded, they put a plastic exhaust pipe whereas on display when I bought and paid for it, they had SS. I had to pay additional 1500 rs. for SS exhaust. they had told 1 year warranty for all parts, and I was shocked when they said I will have to pay for knobs - knobs are not covered under warranty. on top of it, there person has not come to fix the problem even after repeated complaints for many days. STAY AWAY FROM GILMA.
