The bottom line for this product is, that I have shaved my beard in three minutes flat. I shave my beard, not stubble. The Fusion razor is unusual. It is very heavy, compared to other razor systems. It has five blades, and one cannot see day light or any light between them, but it rinses clean. It is amazing, how Gillette makes a product way better than it's previous incarnation. If you think that weight =quality, then you will like the Fusion. I thought, it was a distraction. I use the Fusion Hydra Gel, also.
I cannot say how that is better than the regular Gillette Gel. The Gel sets heavily on the hair of the upper lip. This may cause an uncomfortable shave. But, I am sure the Hydra Gel is also better than the previous incarnation of the gel. No barber is going to use the Fusion on you, because you will want a new razor blade system, when you ask him to shave you. The price for a pack of two blades is around Rs 350. This is very unusual for a product of this nature, until now. But, if you appreciate the experience with the Fusion, you will not mind.
