Jagjit Singh & Chitra Singh, the most famous duo ghazal singers have sung myriads of ghazals together both for the albums and live which are now in the market as albums..

Ghazals From Films in my opine is the collection of most romantic ghazals from the Indian film industry mostly covering the two greatest musical hits Saath Saath/Arth

Truely speaking, I started listening Ghazals after listening to the ghazals of these two movies and now I am mad for ghazals.I like all of the ghazals of this album but few most special ones in my view are:

1)Tum ko dekha to ye khayal aaya (Saath Saath)

I think that this must be one of the favourite ghazals of all ghazal fans..Javed Akhtar sahab himself considers his this composition as one of the greatest compositons he has composed..Besides, the way Jagjit & Chitra jee has sung this is simply fantastic.. feel the lines Tum chale jaoge to sochenge, humne kya khoya humne kya paya...

2)Tu nahi to zindagi mein aur kya reh jayega (Arth)

Written by (Iftikar Imam Siddiqui)..its one of my favourite ghazals whcih I usually humm when I am alone..amazing lyrics amazingly sung by Chitra jee. the way it has been composed and sung really shows the loneliness which could be caused in life if her lover is not in her life...

3)Koi ye kaise bataye ki wo tanha kyon hai (Arth)..

Fabulous composition by Kaifi Azmi sahab, yet another legendary personality in the world of Ghazals/Sher/Nazm/Mausiki/Songs... the Golden Voice of Jajit Singh has done the magic in this ghazal...the passion in his voice can easily be felt and realized..it seems like his voice is coming straight from his heart..listen to the lines and feel the pain..ek zara haath badha de to pakad le daman, mere seene me sama jaye tumhari dhadkan, itni kurbat hai to fir faasla itna kyon hai ...

4)Jhuki Jhuki si nazar bekarar hai ki nahi (Arth)

listen to the softness and the pain that is reflected from the music itself along with Jagjit Singh's voice..one should see how beautifully this ghazal is presented..listen to marvellous lyrics in loneliness like the lines ..wo pal ki jisme mohabbat jawaan hoti hai, us ek pal ka tujhe intezaar hai ki nahi, daba daba sa sahi dil mein pyar hai ki nahi

5)Wo kagaz ki kashti wo baarish ka pani(AAJ)

i think one of the best ghazals and one of the most famous and requested ghazals (in live concerts) of jagjit singh. Sudarshan Fakir, the renowned lyricist gets the whole sole credit for writing this soul thrilling ghazal..the extraordinary ghazal has been also xtraordinarily sung by the Ghazal maestro..anyone listening to this particular ghazal is forced to cherish his childhood memories and if one's tears flow out, its not at all unusual..it is one of my favourite ghazals which I know line to line...my most favourite lines are... muhalle ki sabse purani nishani, wo bushiya jise bacche kehte the nani, wo nani ki baton me pariyon ka dera, wo chehre ki jhurriyon mein sadiyon ka phera, bhulaye nahi bhul sakta hai koi, wo choti si raatein wo lambi kahani...i think I cannot describe this gr8 ghazal..i can only feel it...

6)Ye bata de mujhe zindagi, pyar ki raah ke humsafar(Saath Saath)

i would only say a great description of the emotions and love existing between lovers obviously excellently sung by the legendary couple..the gr8 comparison between times when the lovers were together and the pain involved after parting..kal jo bahon min thi aur nigahon mein thi ab wo narmi kahan kho gayi??..

7)Pyar mujhse jo kiya tumne to kya paogi (Saath Saath)

just listen to the following and then feel... kyon mere saath koi aur pareshan rahe, meri duniya hai jo veeran to veeran rahe, zindagi ka ye sabab tum pe to aasan rahe, humsafar mujhko banaogi to pachtaogi...just tell me how do u all liek these lines..i really cannot xpress how much I like these lines....

Besides the above, the other Ghazals of te album like ''ye tera ghar ye mera ghar'' and ''yun zindagi ki raah mein majboor ho gaye'' cannot be neglected at all..

In short I would only say that a true lover of Ghazals should possess this album as it contains rare and xtremely valuable gems....
